Daniel N. Davidow MD
Dr. Daniel Nelson Davidow serves as Cumberland’s medical director, having specialized in adolescent care at Richmond area hospitals since 1982. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Dr. Davidow received his doctor of medicine from The Medical College of Georgia. He then completed his internship and residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where he continued under a two-year fellowship in adolescent medicine.
Dr. Davidow’s medical accomplishments qualified him to revise a chapter on adolescent care in the American Academy of Pediatrics manual, Hospital Care of Children and Youth, and to write a chapter on chronic illness in children and adolescents in a child and adolescent psychiatry textbook. Currently an associate clinical professor in pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia, he has also been involved in the communities he’s served, belonging to local organizations’ board of advisors.
